The Biyang Max Distortion DS-10 reproduces a cranked Marshall tube amp roar. Now almost any distortion pedal can give you adequate distortion sounds nowadays. The Biyang simply sounds bigger, and has three tone modes to help you get the sound you're looking for. A normal mode simulates a Plexi like sound. A Bright mode gives you a glassier high end distortion useful for leads and guitar solos. Lastly, a Warm mode gives you a compressed creamy tone of a more modern Marshall that may be the best of the bunch.
