The Aputure V-Mic D2 is the first shotgun microphone with an adjustable sensitivity that can be visually metered. It begins a new age of adjustable sensitivity for use with DSLR cameras, camcorders or portable audio recorders. It inherits all the advantages of previous D1 version such as silent sound recording, but also features more advanced functions including adjustable sensitivity and an AF PEAK indicator that can be synchronized with any device. It uses a ¼” hot shoe for flexible mounting on any rig, light stand, or various audio recording devices. It also includes a wind-shield inside the package so regardless of whether you are recording music, making an interview or shooting a video inside or outdoors, you can rely on the V-Mic to pick up all the detail you need.
